Embroidery for Meditation is an embroidery 101 class that highlights the meditative qualities of fiber art while creating. Attendees will learn to stitch their own unique embroidery project in a meditative environment—a restorative break after a busy start to 2018!

Root Mamma Brooklyn is a women's healing arts collective, made up of spiritually-centered practitioners, each offering their own gifts and services. We'll be addressing our collaborative editorial practice, the role of social media and digital spaces in the arts, and the importance of networking and mentorship in creating career opportunities.

The Art Girl Army is coming to the (semi) big screen for the first time! 

Join us for a rooftop screening of 5 short films by AGA members, followed by a filmmaker Q+A mediated by Art Girl Army co-director Morgan Fletcher.

Art Girl Army ("AGA") is a diverse community of cis women, trans women, and non-binary/gender nonconforming creatives who believe in their work, in themselves, and in-each other passionately and unapologetically. AGA provides a digital space to facilitate collaboration, provide job and networking opportunities, and share resources for 4,000+ members. On the ground in NYC and LA, AGA provides in-person events for creatives across various artistic fields.
